I found Library Thing very user-friendly?
It wasn't difficult to navigate around at all.

I would stick to more traditional methods for the most part.
If I were to use one of these tools regularly, I would use Google calendar because of the convenience of accessing it from any computer.

Search Flickr groups on the same topic. Do you get different results?

No. I got different results.

Flickr and YouTube were very user-friendly. I had no trouble navegating around bother sites and finding info.

I was able to successfully set up my RSS feed. It does make information-gathering more convenient for me.

What do you like about the Google product? What do you dislike? Would you recommend the product to friends and colleagues?

I chose the Google Directory. I love this product because it allows me to narrow a search which always leads to discovering sites I could never find any other way. I always find something unexpected. There is nothing I dislike about it.

I would recommend this to anyone.

Why do you think social networking sites are so popular? What are the main appeal factors?

The are popular because people love to connect with others in a new and fun way. From a practical standpoint, they allow people who have not been in touch for a while to connect.
